Course content
The content of the study will be to work with and discuss texts by authors from the fields of philosophy, psychology, pedagogy and theology on themes such as the dignity of the human person, vulnerability, relationality, feast and celebration, resilience, the soul and others, with the aim of developing students' sensitivity to these phenomena, both in terms of themselves and in terms of young people or educational situations. The content of the study will be determined primarily by the interest of the students. Depending on the interest of the students, it is possible that part of the study will be combined with a stay in one of the functioning monasteries.

Learning outcomes
The student will have the opportunity to reflect personally and in conversation with others on some aspects of his/her pedagogical stance.
The student should be able to formulate his/her own position on partial aspects of pedagogical practice and on the basis of this, in discussion with others and with professional literature, to arrive at his/her critical view.
Prerequisites
A prerequisite is the ability to listen, to dialogue, to find relevant sources and to bring them into the discussion.

Assessment methods and criteria
Essay, Colloquium, Seminar work, Self-reflection

During the course, the student will demonstrate the ability to search for expert sources, prepare them at the required level and be able to critically evaluate them. On this basis, the student will produce a seminar paper which will be defended in preparation for the state final examination. Literature based on own choice and recommendations of the supervisor, seminars, consultations, debates over texts.
