This is an introductory course in a four-semester Latin course. The aim of the course is to master the basics of Latin grammar and the necessary vocabulary within the extent of the first 6 lessons of the textbook Latina nejen pro teology (Milena Přecechtělová). The lessons follow M. Přecechtelová's textbook. However, those students who wish to use H. Oerberg's textbook (Lingua latina per se illustrata - Familia Romana) can do so themselves; for the exam, they can, at their own request, complete a test according to this textbook, from its first 6 lessons.
Students acquire knowledge of basic vocabulary and grammar and will be prepared for the following semester (KTEO/LAFI2).
