The selected OT texts represent the most known and most important texts of the Old Testament. The aim of the course is manyfold: - to make acquainted the students with basic OT texts and to read them - to learn how to read a (religious) text - to explain their message and importance for Christians - to be aware of the significance of the texts for European culture - to discuss the stimulation, which OT can offer to its reader
Student deepens his/her knowledge of Bible and meets the principal texts of OT. |
