Course content
Acquisition and deepening of theoretical knowledge about soil as a basic component of the ecosystem. Understanding the soil-forming process as a never-finished process, the possibility of influencing it by an anthropogenic factor in the conditions of the current state of land management. Soil evaluation from the production and environmental point of view. Soil regimes, causality and possibilities and methods of their assessment and evaluation. Use of new scientific knowledge to determine the physical, biological and agrochemical characteristics of soil and partial soil-forming processes. Colloidal soil system, sorption, regularities, isotherms. Soil hydrology. Soil contamination, remediation options. Soil protection, domestic and foreign systems of soil classification, evaluation and rebonitation, regional pedology, current trends in the use of soil according to the principles of agricultural policy.
