Course content
Structure of the project: Description of the area of interest, soil conditions, climatic conditions, list of regional administrative units, the countryside's features Processing of territorial ecological stability systems, implementation of EIA (data concerning the environmental conditions and state, danger places, reason for the restructuring Projecting of the farming structure, set up the parametres of the projecting of crop production and animal production, projecting of the intial structure of crop and animal production, projecting of the structure of additional activities Proposal of the final structure of the enterprise - its specialisation, crop production + definition of weaknesses and strengths of the current system, animal production + definition of weaknesses and strengths of the current system, non-productive activities Plan of the structure of crop and animal production for the conversion, description of the current cropping, definition of the conversion points, definition of the final organic cropping, proposal of the cropping in the conversion period. Balance of nutrients and feeds in an agricultural unit Restructuring of technologies, Analysis of the current technical equipment, Proposal of changes in the current technical equipment in relation to the project of the conversion Evaluation of the farm's potential after the conversion, Plan of the distribution of crop and animal production and non-productive activities SWOT analysis after the conversion, Evaluation of the sortiment and volume of organic production, SWOT analysis of internal conditions, SWOT analysis of external conditions, Optimalisation of possible processing and sale methods (organic production) Impact of the restructuring of the farming system after the conversion on the stability of the countryside, Advantages, Dangers The project is required in written form (on PC), it has to be burnt on CD, the presentation and abstract in English are also parts of the project.

Learning outcomes
Student´s task: to conceive and work out a puproseful project focused on the processing of a model system of conversion to organic farming system for certain form of enterpise (natural person with the total surface 50-150-300 and over 300 ha, agricultural company, association, joint-stock company, limited liability company) specialised on submontane and montane areas.
After absolving of the subject, students gains knowledge of principles of development of sustainable farming systems and ability to propose measures focused on environmental and production sustainabilty of farm.

Basic knowledge of organic farming and ecology, absolving of subject PUSH1.
