Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
  • Class attendance - 12 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for classes - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 68 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the lecture is to present the concept of biodiversity, its importance and preservative methods. The human effect on biodiversity is documented using practical examples from the different human activities in the landscape.
To analyse the reasons of the extinctioh of species and destroying of biotopes in the central Europe and law in this field.
Prerequisites
Fundamentals of biology, botany and zoology. Relationhip to conservation ecology.
