Basic conversation topics with explanation of applicable grammar: Communication with the authorities, at the doctor?s, description of feelings, orientation.

Learning outcomes
|
The course aims at developing the basic knowledge of the Czech language acquired in ČJCZ1. Students enhance their ability to communicate in Czech in everyday situations, such as communication with the administration workers, shopping, basic medical communication.
Students learn the basics of the Czech language for everyday communication necessary

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of Czech declination system, application of conjugation of basic Czech verbs.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Test
Regular attendance is required (3 absences per semester are permitted). Active participation in class. Tests will be written trhoughout the semester: 1st one in the middle of the semester, 2nd one at the end of the semester and 3rd one in the exam period. Students must pass successfully 2 tests. In case they succeed in test 1 and 2, they need not write test 3. To pass a test successfully the student must get 70 %. The course requires at least one hour of preparation per week.
