Course content
|
Terraristics is not only a hobby but can be also an efficient way how to conserve biodiversity. The course introduces main groups of animals (amphibians and reptiles) that are regular inhabitants of not only zoo expositions but also home terrariums. The laws relating to this topic are also mentioned.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with terraristics with both the technical aspects (construction and equipment of terrariums) and the breeding of particular animal groups.
Based on the acquired theoretical knowledge, better orientation in the breeding of terrarium animals
