Course content
The reflection is realized in the form of a colloquium, in which students present their portfolios, in which they reflect the acquired experience, knowledge, and skills from their involvement in direct and indirect pedagogical activities at the selected elementary school.

Learning outcomes
Individual assistant practical training is carried out at elementary (or grammar) school either continuously or in a block during semester. During the practical training the students obtain an insight into the factual school operation and get an overview of the activities of teachers and students during the classes of chemistry. Students attend the classes preferably as a passive listeners, assist to the teacher with his activities, e.g. preparation of the material and didactic instruments for the class, participate in demonstration of experiments or in laboratory exercise and supervise students.
Graduates are able to understand the basic methods of effective education and gain an overview of the activities of teachers and students in chemistry classes.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance assessment, Interview, Student portfolio analysis

Curriculum analysis, preparation of lessons and teaching itself, design of didactical tests, preparation of instructions for laboratory work, taking care of necessary aids, and natural materials. Presentation of the pedagogical portfolio (a set of selected works and other materials from the student's studies) and reflections on the professional experience and acquired competencies of the student.
