Course content
THEMES OF GENERAL DIDACTIC OF CHEMISTRY Didactics of chemistry, its object and subdivision Goal of the chemical education Degree of insight of the chemical subject matter, Bloom's taxonomy Cognitive process in the chemical education, Algorithms, analogy and misconception Structure of the chemical education, The selection of the subject matter and the curriculum Textbook of chemistry Educative importance of relationships between composition, structure, attribute and behaviour of chemical substances Forms and methods, Chemical educational excursion, Projected teaching Problem's methods in teaching chemistry, Tasks and exercises Teaching aids and computer-teaching in the chemical education, Chemical experiment Cross-links and integration trends in the scientific subjects Elements of motivation in the chemical education Classification of growth in the chemical education THEMES OF GENERAL AND INORGANIC CHEMISTRY Classification of materials, Mixtures Atom, Radioactivity, Chemical bond Fundamental knowledge of Thermo-chemistry, Kinetics, Thermodynamic Acid-base reactions, Precipitation reactions Red-ox reactions, Fundamental knowledge of Electro-chemistry Chemical equations, Stechiometric calculation Theoretical fundament of inorganic chemistry, Periodic system Hydrogen, Oxygen, Water, Inert gases Halogens, Chlorine, Chalcogens, Sulphur Nitrogen, Phosphorus Carbon, Sillicium Metals, their properties and technology During the exercises students - apply knowledge of general didactic of chemistry into the practical teaching, - simulate teaching process in real schools. Topics are the above mentioned themes of general and inoranic chemistry. The other students discuss a assess their colleagues' exposes. As the last takes part in these discussions the lecturer.

Learning activities and teaching methods

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide fundamental knowledge of didactic of general and inorganic chemistry. Emphasis is placed on connecting common pedagogic theories with the practical teaching of chemistry courses. Introduction of the course is attend to fundamental knowledge of general didactic of chemistry.
Graduates are able to make sense of basic methods of effective education of general and inorganic chemistry.
Prerequisites
Introductory courses in psychology and pedagogics completed in Bachelor´s degree.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Student performance assessment, Hospitace

Commanding of the basics of selected parts of didactic of general and inorganic chemistry with respect to the necessary understanding of general didactic of chemistry. All materials related to the lessons of science didactics (e.g. seminar theses and essays, projects, literature reviews etc.) are summed at the preservice teacher's portfolio which reflects professional skills and experience.
