Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide fundamental knowledge of didactic of general and inorganic chemistry. Emphasis is placed on connecting common pedagogic theories with the practical teaching of chemistry courses. Introduction of the course is attend to fundamental knowledge of general didactic of chemistry.
Graduates are able to make sense of basic methods of effective education of general and inorganic chemistry.
Prerequisites
Introductory courses in psychology and pedagogics completed in Bachelor´s degree.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Student performance assessment, Hospitace
Commanding of the basics of selected parts of didactic of general and inorganic chemistry with respect to the necessary understanding of general didactic of chemistry. All materials related to the lessons of science didactics (e.g. seminar theses and essays, projects, literature reviews etc.) are summed at the preservice teacher's portfolio which reflects professional skills and experience.
