Learning outcomes
The goal is to achieve the students' knowledge of fundamentals of general chemistry and biochemistry at the level indispensable for understanding of subsequent subjects. Students from different types of secondary schools arrive with different chemistry knowledge. Such drawbacks must be overcome during the semester. The teaching of this subject will be coordinated with the subject of Food chemistry.
Familiarization with basic principles of general chemistry and biochemistry.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of chemistry and biology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam, Test

Requirements on credit: fulfillment of the program of exercises, successful passing of control tests.
