  • Preparation for exam - 40 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 56 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 35 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course aims to teach students to process, evaluate and interpret information obtained by measurement or observation using selected basic biostatistical methods.
Student undestands basic principals of probability theory and biostatistics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Active participation is required at the seminars! During the semester students have to pass two tests. If the student earns on average 65 percents after their passing, he/she is deemed to have completed the written part of the final exam. In another case, the student has to pass the written part of the exam with 2/3 success. In either case, the oral part of the final exam follows.
