Course content
Knowledge of prokaryotic and eukaryotic genomes. Structure, function. Evolution of genomes. Genomic selection in animals and plants, biological principles, biometric apporoaches, application. Genomic selection in different animal and plant species. Current status and perspectives.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing)

Learning outcomes
To get knowledge on the structure and function of sequenced prokaryote and eukaryote genomes.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined exam

Knowledge of genomiky, genetics, biochemistry, biometrics. Credit test.
