Course content
In the general context, it will selectively include cattle genetics, pig genetics, horse genetics, sheep and goat genetics, microorganism genetics, domestic animal genetics or livestock genetics, etc. In the field of molecular genetics, the subject will also be selectively oriented to livestock molecular genetics according to livestock species, molecular genetics of pigs, molecular genetics of farm animals in general, etc. The content of the subject as such will therefore be specified for each student in his individual study plan so that it is correlated with his focus of study and content-wise manageable.

Learning outcomes
Special genetics and molecular genetics are disciplines with an internal division focused on specific areas, e.g. according to individual types of organisms, according to individual groups of traits, etc. The content of this course, which is very broad, will therefore be specifically specified for on the topic and focus of his doctoral dissertation.
: The student can independently navigate in the given issue and is able to use the acquired knowledge in their scientific activities or other practice.
Prerequisites
The student is familiar with the issues within the scope of university studies and is willing to study independently.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination
Study of current literary citations according to the recommendations of the subject guarantor and materials from the website according to the current design. Update of recommended literature on the date of study of the subject according to the individual study plan of the doctoral student.
