The important livestock pathogens, their sources, risk factors, prevention precautions, therapy. Modern approaches to improving the performance and health of livestock.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to broaden the knowledge about microorganisms and their role, especially in the agricultural industry with regard to improving the performance, resistance, and health of livestock animals. The specific content will be modified in connection with the topic of the doctoral thesis.
Students will gain deepened knowledge in the field of agricultural microbiology in connection with the topic of their doctoral thesis.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge: primary production, fundamental microbiology. The other requirements necessary for successful completion of the course will be listed at the beginning of the study.
