The student has to demonstrate the ability to independently and creatively process a professional topic at the appropriate content and methodology, as well as the ability to work independently with domestic and foreign literature, search and sort information and process it into a comprehensive form using knowledge gained during the study. The basis of bachelor's theses (BP) should be based primarily on literary research. Obtaining and evaluating one's own experimental results is conditioned by the time of the BP solution. Experimental results should be repeated with the possibility of statistical evaluation (results obtained in the laboratory). In the case of BP focused on field experiments and dependent on the periodicity of the vegetation cycle, results of only one year should not be published. In such a case, in addition to the literary elaboration of the topic, BP may also contain a detailed proposal of the methodology (usable in the case of elaboration of the diploma thesis in the follow-up master's study). In contrast to BP II, the student must submit a complete literature search, including the conclusions resulting from it and possibly completely processed experimental data, including tabular and graphical processing and conclusions resulting from them.
Theoretical knowledge of professional subjects, the ability to work with professional literature, the ability to formulate conclusions from the studied issues, the ability to obtain the necessary data by performing and evaluating experimental and observational activities.
