Course content
|
Primary production as an essential factor of the yield. Productive ecology. Outflow and inflow of assimilates and sink capacity of crop organs. Ontogenesis of the assimilative system. LAI and NAR ratio. Biological yield, forming and distribution of dry matter, economic yield. Structure of the yield. Forming of the yield of field crop (cereals, legumes, oil crops, root crops, fodder plants). Relation between yield forming and production quality.

Learning outcomes
|
Subject aims is to introduce the base of the biological and economic yields of the main field crops.
Students are able to orientate in the most important physiological processes that influence of yield, the formation of individual yield elements and they have an overview of the achieved yields of main crops.

Prerequisites
|
Basic knowledge of physilogy and plant biology.

Combined exam
Active participation in consultation, understanding the curriculum defined for the exam.
