The aim of the course is to introduce students to general aspects of phytopathology, i.e. classification of diseases, pathogen-host interactions, structure of the infection cycle, biological, morphological, anatomical and taxonomic characteristics of individual groups of plant pathogens and at the same time to introduce students to the most important diseases of basic groups of cultivated crops including their protection.
Knowledge of pathogens causing diseases of field crops, vegetables and fruit trees.
