Course content

1. Properties of materials with respect to their mechanical properties. 2. Temperature and its effect on the properties of materials and products. Methods for measuring the temperature. 3. and 4. Optical properties of materials and products and their measurement. 5. Electrical properties of materials and products. 6. and 7. The inner structure of materials and products. 8. and 9. Water and its properties. 10. and 11. Air and its properties. 12. Physico-Mathematical modelling of selected phenomena and its applications in physical and technical practice. 13. Lecture chosen by interest and choice of students. 14. A time reserve.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will learn about the practical and technical applications of selected physical phenomena, including their theoretical nature. Students acquire approaches leading them to actively use previously acquired knowledge in everyday life and in various industrial applications.
The student is able to apply the knowledge, received during the study, specified in the part: Content of the syllabus.
