Course content
The content of the course will be specified by the teacher at the beginning of the semester to respect the topic of the dissertation and its professional direction. The teaching consists mainly of self-study from the recommended literature and individual consultations of the student with the teacher. The course of study includes in particular the following topics: - Computer modelling of air flow in stables, - design of ventilation systems, animal welfare requirements, - modelling of microclimatic conditions in the stable area, - models for estimating the concentration of ammonia and other undesirable gases in stall spaces, - models for the propagation of stress gases from stable buildings, - selected numerical methods and their principles. The study includes the preparation of a seminar paper, which serves as a basis for the oral examination of the course. The assignment of the thesis is chosen by the instructor so that the student can use it as one of the bases for the dissertation. The course is taught in English.
