1. Externalities of road transport. 2. Basic terms in the field of transport. 3. Marking of vehicles. 4. Roads. 5. Legislative limits for vehicles. 6. Vehicles for the transport of loads. 7. Transportation equipment for the transportation of food. 8. Transportation equipment for the transport of live animals and fish. 9. Transportation equipment for the collection and transport of municipal waste. 10. Transportation equipment for the transport of sediments during reclamation of the ponds. 11. Handling of biodegradable waste and their transport. 12. Transportation equipment for the transport of the biodegradable waste. 13. Transportation of wood material in the area of forest harvesting. 14. Equipment for the transportation of wood material.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is for students to gain an overview of road transport issues, to become familiar with the construction and operation of transport equipment in selected areas. The material discussed in the course focuses on specific applications in the transport of agricultural commodities.
The student is able to apply the knowledge, received during the study, specified in the part: Content of the syllabus.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination
The student has the knowledge of the scope of subject "Transport and handling technology 1". The prerequisite for successful completion of the course is 80% attendance, completion of a midterm and credit test, preparation of a seminar paper, and a combined exam.
