1. Introductory lesson 2. Theoretical background for farm management using information systems. Basic concepts and procedures 3. E-agriculture as a platform for sharing information for farms - theoretical background 4. Knowledge and information databases. Theoretical principles of data storage and transfer with regard to their continuous availability - terminology and procedures with regard to agricultural practice. 5. Automation of farm management from the point of view of information systems 6. Theoretical principles of operation and management of database systems, their sizing for the needs of agricultural enterprises 7. introduction to agricultural management software solutions 8. - 13. Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic theoretical knowledge in the field of information systems in agriculture (lectures). In the exercises, students will then get acquainted with selected software solutions and acquire the skills to work with them.
Students will gain basic theoretical knowledge in the use of information systems in agriculture and also get acquainted with selected software solutions and gain skills in working with them.

Basic knowledge of mathematics and computer science in the scope of basic courses in undergraduate study.
