Course content
Operational experience of students is mandatory and can be done in primary agricultural enterprises, in agricultural service businesses (consultancy and technical services), in the food industry, in forestry, in communal area, in the service of waste management, in transportation, in business organizations with agricultural commodities focused on technology and in manufacturing. The main emphasis in teaching practice is put on active approach of students and on their individual work. Practice allows students to familiarize themselves with the focus of a given company, with the management and organizational structure, with the solutions of the building modifications, with specifics of the deployment of machinery and transport equipment on the practical tasks, with the arrangement in favour of the environment in the working technology. If it was possible, students were familiarized with the economic results of the enterprise, with innovation and with the exact solutions of the protection and safety at work.

Learning outcomes
Students are personally are familiarized with the working environment of companies, with the attitudes and experiences of workers (employees) at all levels, with specific working methods and with the working technologies. During their studying so they can compare theory with practice, which contributes to easier understanding of issues.
Completion of subject Fundamentals of agricultural technology required.

Assessment methods and criteria
Seminar work

A student must take the minimal number of 120 hours of praxis, while the praxis does not have to be done continually, it can be done on Saturdays and Sundays. The praxis can be run for more than one subject. For that, more "Contracts about praxis" and "Evidences of praxis" must be worked up. To get the credits, the student must put forward: 1. Filled and approved "Evidence of the praxis" with evaluation of the praxis provided by a supervising worker who led and organised the praxis. 2. Filled "Contract about praxis" 3. Evaluation of the praxis, at the evidence-of-praxis document, provided by the student.
