Course content
1. Environmental aspects of agriculture 2. Comparison of chosen aspects of agricultural activities in terms of different systems of managing 3. Tools used to lower the impact of agricultural production on environment from the crop production point of view. 4. Tractor as an elementary drive unit 5. Technology of soil treatment 6. Sowing and planting machines 7. Fertilizing machines, sprayers - machines for crop protection 8. Mechanization for forage harvesting - mowers, tedder rakes 9. Vehicles for collecting and presses, handling machines 10. Harvesters 11. Mechanization of potato harvesting 12. Precision farming technology - general introduction, navigation systems 13. Precision farming technology - control programs, use, benefits

Learning outcomes
Aim of this subject is to receive both basic theoretical and practical knowledge of machines used in crop production (their influence on environment) and to find a way to lower the influence of crop production on parts of environment (tools for sustainable crop production).
The student is able to apply the knowledge, received during the study, specified in the part: Content of the syllabus.
