Course content
1. Introduction to the subject. 2. Crop production - selected theoretical background for fertilization. 3. Cultivation of economic crops - selected theoretical background for the field of plant protection by spraying. 4. Principles of technologies for locally differentiated fertilization. 5 and 6. Theoretical principles of sprayers. Requirements for the quality of sprayer operation, adjustment, compliance with spray liquid dosage, establishment and use of track spacing. Environmental protection, reduction of spray drift, testing of sprayers. 7. Thermal protection methods. Theoretical principles of future plant protection technologies. 8. Theoretical principles of systems for manure technology. 9. Mineral fertiliser technology. 10. Theoretical introduction to the design of process lines, background, classification of sets, selected examples, parameterization. Technical performance standards, calculation of machine operating costs. 11. Business strategies with machine technology. Energy and set-up of sets. 12. Lines for soil preparation, sowing and fertilisation. Lines for cultivation and harvesting of crops. Lines for post-harvest treatment and processing of root crops. 13. Forage harvesting lines. Learning outcomes
