Course content

1. Introduction to the subject. 2. Requirements for housing systems in intensive animal husbandry. 3. Animal welfare requirements in intensive animal husbandry, housing systems. 4. Equipment for housing systems in intensive cattle farms. 5. Equipment for housing systems in intensive pig and poultry farms. 6. Technology and equipment for cattle feeding. 7. Technology and equipment for feeding pigs and poultry. 8. Technology of excreta removal and storage in cattle farms. 9. Excreta removal and storage technology in pig and poultry farms. 10. Equipment for the treatment of milked milk. 11. Machinery and equipment for grazing technology. 12. Microclimate of stall buildings in intensive farming. 13. Ventilation systems and air-conditioning of stall buildings. 14 Conclusion of the course, credit, presentation.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to deepen knowledge in the field of breeding technology and techniques used in selected areas of livestock production.
The student is able to apply the knowledge acquired during the study defined in the Content section of this syllabus.

Prerequisites
|
Students will deepen their theoretical knowledge and methodology in the field of technology and techniques for animal production. They will learn to apply this theoretical knowledge to specific practical situations in the context of exercises and seminars.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Combined exam
Active participation in seminars, submission of seminar work, knowledge of the lectured material.
