Course content
|
Biological and physiological principles of sexual cycle regulation, reproductive management, current technologies and trends in insemination dose processing and sex determination, artificial insemination, embryo transfer, embryo cloning and embryo splitting, fertility disorders, biological and biotechnical methods of problem reproduction.

Learning outcomes
|
The discipline focuses on the biological aspects of female and male fertility and on current methods of regulating reproductive function and addressing fertility disorders.
Theoretical knowledges and practical knowledges of biological aspects of livestock reproduction, biotechnical methods and procedures applied in the regulation of sexual functions, artificial insemination and in solving reproductive problems.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledges morphology and physiology of farm animals appropriate to the level of the Master's degree.

|
Oral examination
Students are introduced to the requirements necessary for successful completion of the course at the beginning of their studies.
