Course content

Clinical examination procedures. Modern laboratory examination methods. Diagnostic screening. Principles and importance of preventive diagnostics. Pathophysiology of reproduction. Disorders in the sexual expression of animals. Clinical diagnosis and complementary examinations of fertility disorders. Identification of causes of fertility disorders.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to deepen the knowledge of modern examination procedures and evaluation of the health status of animals in experimental activities and in breeding practice with a focus on reproductive disorders and metabolic disorders.
The student will acquire basic knowledge of investigative methods including preventive diagnosis and knowledge of the pathophysiology of reproduction and investigation of fertility disorders.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of morphology and physiology of livestock at the level of master's degree.

Oral examination
Students are acquainted with the requirements necessary for successful completion of the course at the beginning of the study.
