Course content
|
Feed terminology, esential nutrition factors, digestibility of nutriments, moodification of feed - physical, chemical and biological, mineral nutrients, biologic effective matters; production of feed mixtures, creating of feed rations, calculation of feed rations, formation and calculation of feed norm, optimalization of feed rations.

Learning outcomes
|
The course informs students about feeding of domestic animals including carnivorous animals. This subject involves production of feed mixtures for poultry and provides the information about vitamins and mineral stuffs, pharmaceutic stuffs and management of health unexceptionable feed mixtures.
Students will be familiar with the issues of nutrition and feeding domestic animals. Ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge in the use of feed, feeding techniques, feed preparation for individual species and categories of domestic animals.

Combined exam, Test, Seminar work
The course is completed by an exam, which precedes the continuous assessment.
