Learning outcomes
Doctoral students can specialize within the subject, according to the assignment of the doctoral thesis, on the evaluation of nutritional parameters, antinutritive substances in a fresh and preserved state. Furthermore, they can focus on the effect of individual nutrients on performance and reproduction parameters, both in ruminants and in monogastric animals. Furthermore, it is possible to focus on classical and ecological nutrition systems of individual animal species. Special sections are the addition of minerals, vitamins and stimulants to feed rations for individual species and categories of animals and for the conservation of forage.
The student can independently navigate in the given issue and is able to use the acquired knowledge in their scientific activities or other practice.
Prerequisites
The student is familiar with the issues within the scope of university studies and is willing to study independently.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination
Standard knowledge of genetics, physiology and biochemistry of animals.
