Lectures - 1 WS 1. Introduction to the field of physiotherapy. Terminology 2.-3. Procedure of physiotherapeutic diagnostics for targeted rational physiotherapy 4.-6. Complete kinesiological analysis. Anamnesis and its importance. Communication with the patient 7.-9. Aspects. Palpation 10. Examination methods evaluating muscle strength, muscle tension and other properties of muscle tissue 11. Examination methods evaluating the range of joint mobility 12. Examination methods evaluating posture and gait 13. Examination of gripping functions of the upper limbs, examination of spinal motility, examination of functional joint blocks 14. Examination of senses. Examination of functional movement disorders Lectures - 1 SS 1.-3. Medical documentation, patients' rights, physiotherapist's code 4. Conditions of providing health care 5.-6. System of medical facilities in the Czech Republic 7. Private practice of a physiotherapist 8. Basic competence of health care workers 9. Learning outcomes
o provide basic information about the whole process of physiotherapy and physiotherapeutic terminology o gain orientation in the diagnosis and therapeutic possibilities of physiotherapy o knowledge of methods and procedures of physiotherapy in individual clinical fields - in the most common groups of diagnoses o knowledge of movement pathology in the most common groups of diagnoses, and the ability to rationally indicate the physiotherapeutic procedure o theoretical and practical mastery of targeted clinical examination of the locomotor system with emphasis on the interconnection of already discussed techniques with new ones - and their application in basic clinical medical disciplines and physiotherapy o practical orientation in medical documentation o define the profile of a graduate of the field
