Lectures - 1 SS 1.-2. Palpation and examination of soft tissues 3.-4. Definition of massage. History of massage 5.-6. Types of massage 7.-8. Effects of massages on the body. Classic vs. reflex massage 9.-10. Hygienic principles of massage 11.-12. Reflexology massage. Zones of transmitted pain 13.-14. Indications and contraindications of classical and reflexology massage Training - 1 SS 1.-4. Principles of active movement examination 5.-8. Muscle tests according to Janda 9.-12. Basic movement stereotypes according to Janda 13.-16. Examination of shortened muscles 17.-20. Basics of respiratory examination 21.-24. Grip examination 25.-28. Examination of walking 29.-31. Practical palpation skills, practice of palpation perception 32.-34. Back, chest and abdomen massage 35.-37. Lower limb massage 38.-40. Upper limb massage 41.-42. Neck massage 43.-44. o ability to perform basic diagnostic procedures in physiotherapy o knowledge of palpation theory and soft tissue examination o practical skills of classical therapeutic massage and reflex massage sets o practical skills of soft tissue palpation of the skin-subcutaneous-fascia-muscle floor o theoretical knowledge of indications and contraindications of massage, the principle of action, the difference between classical therapeutic and reflexology massage
o the student knows basic diagnostic procedures o the student knows methodological procedures in the field of kinesiotherapy and can use them in individual and group therapy o the student knows how to palpate soft tissues o the student knows and is able to practically perform classical therapeutic massage and reflexology massage sets
