The outcome is the ability to describe the theoretical basis of psychology, the ability to explain the biopsychosocial dimensions of man, the ability to explain the structure of personality, its features, processes and states, and to describe and analyse individual human needs, motives and interests. It also provides information on developmental psychology. It informs students about the typical ways of experiencing, thinking and acting in individual stages of human life (from conception to death) in relation to the holistic concept of human personality. Knowledge of developmental psychology should contribute to the creation of realistic expectations and appropriate behaviour with people of different ages.
