Course content
- Introduction, content and aim of the subject. Basic concepts of the management. Theories of work motivation, stimulation. Communication. Specifics of management in public and social administration. - Strategic approaches in management, planning. - Organization structure and principles of organizational architecture. Corporate culture. - Human resources management. Leadership of people and teams. Decision making in management.

Learning outcomes
The management is a set of activities performed by managers in order to achieve predetermined aims while effectively using resources. The aim of the subject is to understand the importance of individual management functions and their interdependence with taking into account the specificities of public and social administration.
Students will be able to understand the specificity of management in public services and social sphere, the importance of individual management functions and their interdependence.
Prerequisites
The student acquires an overview of basic managerial terms and basic overview of management issues.
