Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on professional vocabulary and communication. At the end of the course, students will be able to work with the professional literature, i.e. search for information, manage situations that require communication and present their professional knowledge.
Ability to use professional vocabulary. Studying academic literature. Development of communicative skills in English using discussions and presentations. Expressing and defending opinions in English. Using grammar included in the topics.

Prerequisites
|
Initial knowledge of the language level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Test
Credit (zápočet) - at least 70% active participation in seminars (working with course materials, participating in professional discussions, prove the ability to present a professional topic corresponding to the focus of the study program in English - final written test - minimum score of 70%
