Course content
Lectures 2.WS: 1. Defining the content of social psychology, links to related fields. Methods of social psychology, ethical issues associated with psychological research. 2. Culture and its formative effect, socialization, socialization factors. 3. Personality in social psychology, Big Five, self-system, relationship to oneself. 4. Interpersonal perception. Attribution errors, the formation of attitudes and their changes. Prejudices. 5. Social communication. 6. Social intelligence, emotional intelligence. 7. Attitudes, their structure and properties. 8. Social groups and their characteristics. Social position, role. 9. Group leadership. Group standards. 10. Interpersonal relationships and their formation, interpersonal attractiveness.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the Social psychology course is to acquaint students with basic social psychological concepts, but also with the application of social psychology in the profession of nutritional therapist. Effective social communication will be emphasised and it will also be trained in seminars.
Students will gain knowledge about the psychology of patients. In this way, they can better understand the patient's mental state. Students will learn basic psychological concepts. They will also acquire effective and social communication.
