Learning outcomes
The subject is arranged as a theoretical and practical complex for paramedical rescuers. It acquaints the students with tasks and activities of operation centres, tactics of implementation of emergency actions, methods of rescue principles of cooperation with other emergency services and tasks of the paramedical rescuers under extraordinary conditions.
The student will assess the client's condition, particularly from the perspective of seriousness and urgency - is able to identify the state of vital indication - provides urgent care independently - disposes of knowledge and skills needed for life-threatening conditions - has knowledge from the area of resuscitation and intensive care, applying them in pre-hospital care - is able to work in multidisciplinary team, is able to cooperate in treatment procedures of urgent care - is aware of consequences of tasks, competences and continuity of care for individual client - assists the physician in urgent operations and actions, drug administration in pre-hospital care - recognizes individual forms of shock and allergic reaction - knows medicines and their effects used for anesthesia and analgesic sedation in pre-hospital care
