Course content
Lecture: (1 class per week - 9 weeks) 1st week: Definition of clinical prophaedeutics, its meaning and relation to the particular clinical disciplines. The meaning of anamnesis and its division. 2nd week: Introduction to physiolocal examination - inspection, palpation, 3rd week: Introduction to physiological examination - percussion, auscultation 4th week: Introduction to physiological functions, their alteration and the way of examination 1 5th week: Introduction to physiological functions, alteration and the way of examination 2 6th week: Introduction to physiological functions, alteration and the way of examination 3 7th week: Lab examination methods, biochemical, haematological, microbiological biopsy methods of removal 8th week: Electrophysiological examination methods: ECG, EEG, EMG, ENG 9th week: Imaginative examination methods: RTG, CT, MR, ECHO. Endoscopic examination Workshops: (0.5 classes per week- 9 weeks) 1st week: Communication of a rescuer with the ill, anamnesis, examination of the overall condition of the ill (consciousness, position, posture, walking, abnormal movement, habitus, voice changes, speech disorders, skin disorders, aedema, adnexa, body temperature) 2nd week: Examination of the head, the skull, examination of the eyes, nose, lips, and the oral cavity, examination of the ears. Examination of the neck: arteries, cervical veins, endocrine glands, thyroid 3rd week: Examination of the chest: abnormal forms of the chest, respiratory movements, examination of the digits, examination of the chest through tapping and listening 4th week: The selected lung syndromes: bronchial obstruction, the syndrome of thickness of lung tissue, the syndrome of the increased volume of the lungs, pneumothorax, fluidothorax 5th week: Examination of the heart through sight, touch, hearing, heart beat, raised heart sounds, examination of the pulse and blood pressure 6th week: Examination of the abdomen: division of the abdomen to the areas, examination of the abdomen through sight, touch, tapping, rectal examination, examination of the ascit. Examination of the liver, gallbladder and spleen 7th week: Examination of the urinary-genital system: kidneys, bladder, external genitals. Examination of the locomotive system, joints, spinal cord, soft tissues. 8th week: Examination of blood vessels: arteries, veins; examination of lymph nodes 9th week: Formulation of a usual pathological physical finding. ECG, telemetry, options of lab examination in PNP
