Course content
1) The evolution of community care in historical perspective a) Events and causes to develop community care and health delivery to community care b) Population behavior to health care and social care c) Health disparities in community care and role of social worker d. Social determinants of health. 2) Influencing behaviour change in the community due to education. a) Health behaviours and social services b) Role of family involvement and community care c) Role of media awareness and community care awareness. 3) Difference between public health and community health care with a social care perspective. a) Health promotion and disease prevention in community care b) Health care barriers in community care c) Ageing population, mental health, and social care d) Role NGOs in community care perspective. 4) Advocacy and critical thinking over community care. a) Active bodies that develop awareness in community care and social care. b) Community support initiatives in high-income countries c) WHO measures for community care and social work.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Projection, Activating (simulations, games, drama), Work with multi-media resources (texts, internet, IT technologies)

1. To assist students in their understanding of community care and duties of health care and social care institutes and their impact on people. 2. Create an environment that students will be able to think about the consequences of cooperation of social work and health care and its pros and cons in Czech Republic system. 3. Students will be able to distinguish the systems of community health care and community welfare.

1. To assist students in their understanding of community care and the duties of health care and social care institutes and their impact on people. 2. Create an environment in which students will be able to think about the consequences of cooperation of social work and health care and its pros and cons in the Czech Republic system. 3. Students will be able to distinguish the systems of community health care and community welfare.
