Seminars: 1. Nursing as a scientific field, philosophy of nursing, holistic approach to human needs 2. Nursing unit, care of the patient's / client's bed, hygienic care of the patient 3. Basic manipulation with the patient, care of the immobile patient, prevention of pressure ulcers 4. Patient care in the field of nutrition and hydration 5. Physiological functions - pulse, blood pressure, body temperature, respiration and consciousness 6. Communication with the patient

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance assessment, Test
Written credit (knowledge test - minimum success rate 75%), demonstration of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the form of a colloquium. Additional requirements for the student: 90% participation in classes, activity in the seminar, fulfillment of assigned tasks.
