Course content
Conditions, barriers in nursing decision-making. Decisions and its forms, advantages, disadvantages and risks. Training of the risk estimation of the decision influence in the interactive nurse-patient-doctor-and other professionals-community relationships. Case analyses, diagnostics of the decision-making process and assessment of the correctness of possible alternatives of the decision. Decision matrix, probability tree, use simulation modeling for the support of decision-making. Supporting strategies of the decision-making process, factors influencing the team`s creativity and innovation.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The goal of the subject is to show the decision-making models and their relation to the decision-making process relating to clients, doctors in charge, and relevant legal and ethical standards. The importance of critical thinking as the basis of decision-making process is emphasized. The decision-making process is analyzed as a neuro-physiological process, struggle of motives and mathematical algorithm.
