Learning outcomes
|
The practice is concentrated on the sphere of primary, secondary and tertiary care. The student will learn to provide nursing care at home, in basic and special nursing units with the help of the method of nursing process. The student will deepen the knowledge and practical skills in providing individual nursing care to clients/patients in units of different types and sort of care.
The student knows particularities of nurse's work in life-support ward, intensive care unit and neurological department. The student is able to care for the patient hospitalized in life-support ward, intensive care unit and neurological ward. The student knows and is able to use most frequent nursing diagnoses and possible interventions within nursing process in life-support ward, intensive care unit and neurological ward. The student is able to work wit health care documentation in life-support ward, intensive care unit and neurological ward. The student knows the particularities of nursing documentation used in life-support ward, intensive care unit and neurological ward. The student is able to engage actively in nursing team. The student uses the communication skills in caring for patients. The student knows the standards applied in life-support ward, intensive care unit and neurological ward. The student has grasp of basic pharmacotherapy used in life-support ward, intensive care unit and neurological ward. The student is able to use the technical equipment of the station. The student has grasp of examination methods used in life-support ward, intensive care unit and neurological ward. The student is able, on the base of the acquired knowledge and skills, to elaborate plan of nursing care in life-support ward, intensive care unit and neurological ward.

100% attendance, observance working hours, observance specified adjustment, active job with logbook, active access to practical education, elaboration casuistries and plans nurse care on single detachments according to mock - up Gordon, Orem and next choice mock - ups.
