Course content
1. Conditions, barriers and decision making in nurse practise 2. Decision making and its forms, advantages, disadvantages and risks 3. Practice of estimating the degree of the risk of influence of the decision in an interactive relationship nurse patient, nurse doctor and other categories, communities 4. 5. Case analysis, diagnostics of the decision making process, assessing the feasibility of possible alternatives to the decision 6. Decision-making matrix 7. Supporting decision-making strategy 8. Analysis of the decision-making process of a selected nursing problem

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Individual preparation for exam
Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to point out on decision-making models and their connection to management process in relation to the client, attending physician and given legal and ethical norms.
The student is capable of critical thinking. The student is able to analyse management process as a neurophysiological process, fight of motifs and mathematical algorithm. The student knows management conditions and barriers in nurse practise. The student analyses the causes, diagnose decision-making processes, and assesses the correctness of possible decision alternatives.
Prerequisites
The student is able to interconnect, flexibly associate and apply the knowledge acquired during study. He or she is interested in the relevant topic.
