Course content
Quality improvement in provision of nursing care. Creation of tools for implementation of innovation procedures. Interdisciplinary partner cooperation and quality of provided care. Classification systems and their use in secondary and tertiary care. Potential of implementation of scientific information and EBL in the area of secondary and tertiary care. Evaluation tools, documentation of care, care quality management, care efficiency. Research and its use for development of secondary and tertiary care. Evaluation systems in secondary and tertiary care.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Familiarize the students with recent information in the area of secondary and tertiary care and refer to national and international legislative documentation. Extend and deepen the knowledge on the use of standards and classification systems in secondary and tertiary care.
The student will be able to implement the recent nursing care methods in secondary and tertiary health care. The student will be able to apply the standards and classification systems in secondary and tertiary health care.

Oral examination, Interview, Seminar work

Seminar essay: Problem solving in the area of secondary and tertiary care under use of standards, measurement tools and classification systems. Oral demonstration of expert knowledge.
