1st week History of radiation protection, basic legislation in the area of radiation protection. 2nd week Characteristics of ionizing radiation, interaction of ionizing radiation with the environment. 3rd week Possibilities of radiation protection. 4th week Biological effects of ionizing radiation. 5th week Stochastic and deterministic effect. 6th week Contamination by radioactive substances, possibilities of decontamination. 7th week Concept of radiation protection. Activities, interventions. 8th week Principles of radiation protection. Monitoring of workers. 9th week Radiation monitoring network.
