Course content |
Tutorials: 1. To acquaint students with problems of the diploma work compilation. 2. Structure of an expert work and sequence of particular sections. 3. Requirements for the structure of particular parts of a written work concerning contents and formal aspects. 4. Samples of "Directions for authors" in different renowned periodicals. 5. Analysis of important requirements to be respected by students in the compilation of their works. 6. Sources of references, methods of searching and recording. 7. Preparation of tables and figures, their situation within the text. 8. Directions for the compilation of a summary. 9.-10. Training of presentation of results achieved in the processing of the theme. 11. Search for the literature concerning the problems solved. 12.-14. Sample works.

Learning outcomes |
The student is able to search for the literature. He/she is able to find the literature available and to compile a list of bibliographic references relevant for the work. The student is able to present questions, which should be answered by the work and to process the work based on these questions. The student knows duties of the work supervisor and his/her own duties. The student is able to work with appropriate ISO standards and with the law. The student is able to present his/her work to be defended before a commission. |
