Lectures I (2 lessons): 1. Terminological framework and current security environment of the Czech Republic 2. Legislation of the protection of the population and documents of a non-legislative nature in the protection of the population 3. History of population protection in the world 4. Development of population protection in the Czech Republic 5. International humanitarian law 6. Protection of the population in the EU 7. Protection of the population in NATO 8. Introduction to population protection measures 9. Implementation of warning and informing residents in the territory of the Czech Republic 10. Implementation of notifications on the territory of the Czech Republic 11. Individual and collective protection of the population 12. Possible methods of hiding in emergency and crisis situations 13. Permanent shelters 14. Buildings affected by the requirements of civil protection and spatial planning in the area of population protection Seminars I (2 lessons): 1. Security strategy of the Czech Republic 2. Analysis of security threats 3. Historical events 4. Analysis of the security environment of the Czech Republic in the context of the historical development of population protection 5. International convention 6. Civil protection mechanism of the Union 7. EU and NATO cooperation 8. Application of population protection measures 9. Unified warning and notification system 10. Activity of the population after the announcement of a warning signal 11. Concept of JSVV 12. Self-protection of the population by hiding 13. Concept of sheltering the population 14. Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to familiarize students with the system of population protection of the Czech Republic, its anchoring in legislative and non-legislative documents. Bring closer the content of population protection measures and tasks and their fulfilment in the environment of the Czech Republic.
Students will be able to perform analysis and planning in the field of population protection. Students will familiarize themselves with the population protection system, legislative standards and related areas.
