State and international financing of security problems 11. Examples of the application of science, research and technology for the security area 12. Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with the fundamental changes in this issue that occurred after the end of the bipolar world and the entry of the Czech Republic into NATO and the EU. Emphasize changes in the national, international and human concept of security. Bring closer the principles and measures of the security policy of a democratic state and the importance of public administration in its implementation. To orient students in the issue of crisis management from the point of view of its use by the state administration.
After successful completion of the course, students will be able to perform security analysis and evaluate security threats at the international, national, regional and municipal levels. Students will be able to navigate the state's security system, recognize connections and relationships between individual components, and interpret and apply the acquired knowledge.
