Learning outcomes
Objective of the course in terms of learning outcomes and competences The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the theoretical basics of counseling in the framework of comprehensive rehabilitation with a focus on practical contact with the client in counseling situations and with the most frequent models of counseling practice. Students will acquire the types of situations in the counseling work, the principles of the work of the counseling team and the role of the social worker in comprehensive rehabilitation.
Graduation subject student regaining specific theoretic knowledge from areas of consultancy in terms of coordinating rehabilitation and will ready for mastering contact with client in counselling situations. The acquired knowledge will be able to apply a student in medical, social and pedagogic sciences.
Prerequisites
There are no specific requirements for this course. It is necessary to study recommended literature and discuss selected topics during lectures and seminars.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Test, Seminar work

The course is finished with a credit course and an oral exam. To get a credit and the oral exam, students are required: - to show active preparation and active work during the seminar; - to write and present assigned seminar work; - to successfully pass the credit test; - to successfully pass the oral exam.
