Lectures 1. History of quality of health services, 2. Current nursing, 3. Anchoring the quality of health services in legislation 4. Quality - quality of services, quality in health care - - history of quality in implementation of quality management system in health care 5. Creation of quality system in health care, quality management system in health care, 6. Continuous quality improvement program, 7. Accreditation of medical facility, 8. Quality indicators in health care (procedure for monitoring and improving quality and safety, definition of indicators, main monitored processes in health care facilities, outputs, analysis and corrective and preventive measures, 9. Importance of patient quality and safety monitoring, hospital information system, internal quality and safety evaluation, external quality and safety evaluation), 10. Standards of nursing care, 11. Education of nurses in health care, 12. Quality management (concept of management, functions and processes of management), 13. Corporate culture, 14. Context of economy and health care. Seminars 1. The importance of standards for improving the quality and efficiency of health services 2. Basic characteristics and typology of health service quality standards 3.- 8. Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject is aimed at acquainting students with the meaning of standards in the context of improving the level and efficiency of health services. The student also learns about the pitfalls that accompany the process of implementation and compliance with quality standards.
The trainee knows the basic classification of health service standards and at the same time has knowledge of the content and importance of individual standards. The graduate is able to participate in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of individual standards.
